Files you process: All file processing (image compression, conversion, PDF merging, splitting, etc.) happens entirely inside your web browser using HTML5 Canvas, WebAssembly, and local JavaScript APIs. Your files are never transmitted to our servers. We have zero access to the content of any file you open with ToolNest.

Usage data: We may utilize privacy-respecting, aggregated analytics to understand which tools are most useful and diagnose client errors. This data is strictly aggregated and contains no personal identity information.

Server logs: Like any web application, our hosting infrastructure may record standard request metadata (IP addresses, browser user agent, referring URL, and visited pages) strictly for security, DDoS mitigation, and diagnostic monitoring.

ToolNest stores a single preference in your browser's localStorage (toolnest-theme) to remember your light or dark mode selection. ToolNest requires no user registration, logins, or payment details. We do not maintain marketing lists or user profiles.

ToolNest has prepared integration architecture for Google AdSense to support free hosting. Live advertising scripts currently remain disabled until publisher verification is finalized.

When activated in production, Google may use cookies and device identifiers to serve contextual or personalized advertisements. Prior to ad activation for EEA/UK visitors, a Google-certified Consent Management Platform (CMP) adhering to IAB TCF standards will be deployed to collect and manage cookie consent preferences. • Google Fonts (Inter) — bundled locally at build time via next/font. No runtime external requests to Google servers.

ToolNest is a general audience utility website. We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from children under 13.
