ToolNest provides free, browser-executed utilities for managing image and PDF media (including compression, conversion, resizing, cropping, rotation, merging, and splitting). All file processing takes place locally on your client device using web standards. ToolNest does not host, transmit, store, or inspect your uploaded files.
3. User Responsibilities & Acceptable Use
When utilizing ToolNest, you agree that you are solely responsible for:
- Ensuring you have all necessary legal rights, permissions, and copyrights to process, modify, convert, or format the files you open within our tools.
- Maintaining independent backups of all original media files. ToolNest runs client-side and cannot recover lost original files.
- Not attempting to disrupt, overload, or bypass security mechanisms or client-side restrictions of the application.
- Not using ToolNest to process illegal material or violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law.
4. Intellectual Property Rights
Your Content: ToolNest claims zero ownership, copyright, or licensing rights over any files, images, or documents you process through our tools. Your files remain completely your property.
ToolNest Intellectual Property: All software code, website design, text copy, graphic elements, icons, and logos associated with ToolNest are protected by copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or resell the service without prior written authorization.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties ("As-Is")
ToolNest is provided on an "AS-IS" and "AS-AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the tools will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every historical or corrupt file format.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall ToolNest, its maintainers, or contributors be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of business, or hardware malfunction arising from your use of or inability to use our utilities.
